Community rallies to remember Wil Hundreds of school children and families came together recently to remember Wil Owen and raise money for our hospices. Alongside a very successful online auction, the first Wil Owen Cup football tournament was held in glorious sunshine at Ysgol Glan Clwyd, St Asaph on Tuesday 25th July and raised a total of £7,900. The event was organised by Wil’s friend, Tess Lawson (above) and saw six teams compete in knockout matches. Tess said: “We hope to run the event in years to come and thank everybody who came and made the day possible.” Here is a round-up of pictures from the day.
